Angels,
Voices I hear,
Turn to the heavens,
I shed a tear.
I see you leave me,
Breaking every single promise,
Floating away I don’t think you were honest,
Telling me lies of never letting go,
Naïve I was to not actually know,
Ignorant,
Young,
Stupid I was,
But things went and changed,
I realized the truth,
As hard as it was I still grit my tooth,
Coming to terms,
My soul still yearns,
That you never leave my side,
Angel of mine.
